About the role: You’ll enjoy a great work-life balance with no evening, weekend, or school holiday shifts. Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across the county, serving more than 60,000 meals every day. We’re looking for someone to join our dedicated team at Fleetwood High School.

In This Role, You Will

  • Be part of a friendly and supportive High School team
  • Help prepare, cook, and serve healthy, balanced meals to students
  • Keep catering areas and equipment clean and hygienic

  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Can stay calm under pressure and use your initiative
  • Have great customer service skills
  • Have experience in catering or food preparation (this is a bonus, not a must!)

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 2.5 hours per day
  • Total: 12.5 hours per week – term time only
