Job Description
Salary £14.59 Per Hour | Casual Hours | Evergreen Lodge
International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Residential Service, working as a Casual Residential Child Care Worker (RCCW) within Evergreen Lodge Children\\\’s Residential Respite Unit. We support young people with severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex health and behaviour issues, and Autism.
The role of a RCCW includes working as part of the Evergreen Staff team supporting them in the continuing care of the young people during the day. You will also have to demonstrate the ability to follow instruction and work independently. You will be expected to follow the young people\\\’s individual care plans and to deliver a high standard of care during the day. Your responsibilities will be to monitor young people\\\’s well-being and to provide any personal care. When required, you will need to support with the administration of medication and peg feeds.
Successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to build effective working relationships with young people, show good teamwork skills, communication skills, and record keeping. They will also need to be able to work with other agencies, such as health care staff.
