Overview
Salary £12.85 per hour | Casual hours per week | Lancaster and Morecambe Domiciliary Service | Enhancements for weekend / Bank holiday work and sleep in shifts as relevant. International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship (Shortage Occupations only).
About The Role
Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people who have a disability? We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, flexible people who would enjoy supporting adults with disabilities to live the lives they want. The Service supports people with learning disabilities in their own homes 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Support people with learning disabilities in daily activities and access to activities and experiences in their local community.
- Provide personal care as required and support with managing finances.
- Administer medication and ensure people’s needs are met in terms of health and positive outcomes.
- Adopt a person-centred approach that respects dignity and self‑worth.
