About The Role

The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council is looking to recruit a Casual Cleaning Operative to carry out cleaning duties at Broadfield House. A flexible approach to work is required; the successful candidate will cover sickness, holidays or provide support to meet additional service demands.

Responsibilities

  • General cleaning: damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, washroom cleaning.
  • Loading and emptying washing and drying machines, rolling, pressing, and storing laundry items.
  • Provide cover in several buildings in the catchment area (over 30 Care Homes and Day Centres across Lancashire).

Qualifications

Prior experience in cleaning is desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided. Subject to Enhanced DBS checks; formal employment offer only after successful checks.
