As a Mobile Catering Assistant, you will travel to different schools in and around the Lancaster area to cover where necessary. You must be willing to train as a kitchen supervisor and be able to drive. Lancashire serves over 60,000 school meals per day, and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday / Term Time only. Hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
- Clean all equipment and catering areas.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.
