Grade 4 – Part Time (18.5 hpw). Salary £25,85-£25,989 Per annum | Permanent, Part Time, 18.5 hours per week | Pro Rata | St Anne's - Fylde.

Location: The post supports Children's Social Care based at Sydney Street, Lytham St Anne's FY8 1TR. We are currently working a combination of home and office working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection.

Interviews will be held the week of w/c 23 February 2026. Please note it will not be possible to rearrange an interview date or time.

Responsibilities

The post supports Children's Social Care based at Sydney Street, Lytham St Anne's FY8 1TR providing support to operational staff and managers. Supporting Children's Social Care and contributing to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate. The role involves providing business and administrative support to enable frontline teams to deliver services effectively.

What we are looking for

  • Passion – You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it's what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.
  • Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
  • Great Communication – You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
