This role is not open to international sponsorship. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children’s Directorate. The posts sit within our Central Teams and support both the Inclusion Service (2 posts) and the Fostering Service (1 post). These are permanent, full‑time roles (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday). The role is based at County Hall, Preston (PR1 8XB); however, we operate a hybrid working model, combining home and office work. Therefore, you will need a suitable workspace at home and a reliable broadband connection.
What we are looking for:
- Passion: You will be passionate about delivering a great service and experience.
- Knowledge and Experience: Ideally you have experience of working in an administrative setting, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and databases.
- Great Communication: You will communicate regularly with managers, social workers, families, members of the public, and colleagues. Conveying information clearly and listening to individual needs is essential.
