We have an exciting role of Employment Officer within the Virtual School's Employment Support team. This role will join an experienced team of Employment Officers supporting care experienced young people aged 12-25 across Lancashire into education, employment or training. Experience of delivering careers advice would be advantageous.
Responsibilities- Deliver Careers, Education, Information and Guidance within schools from Year 8 to 11.
- Work with 16β24 year olds and support them into employability with supportive employers.
- Travel across Lancashire meeting young people, partners, schools and businesses to achieve outcomes.
- Experience working with a caseload and knowledge of the needs of children from care.
- High motivation and ability to work flexibly across Lancashire, including in schools, businesses and home working.
- Career Level 6 qualification is advantageous; training will be provided for candidates without this qualification.
