Overview
Join our team as a SEND Specialist HLTA to support expanding pupil numbers and provide PPA cover across the school. A good understanding of KS1 and KS2 curriculum is essential to support pupils with cognition and learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach all primary subjects.
- Use themes and topics to create meaningful links across learning.
- Work with the curriculum team to prepare resources and lessons for each class, ensuring learning is meaningful, accessible and ambitious.
- Provide individual support and liaise with class teams to support curriculum planning and implement pupil strategies.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications and experience as detailed in the full person specification. Desirable: First Aid Qualification, Medical Training, Price/Team Teach, relevant SEND training such as ELKLAN, Colourful Semantics, etc.

- Supporting pupils with SEND, particularly cognition and learning needs.
