Location: Central Lancashire – Chorley & Preston

Salary: Starting Salary £28,142, plus enhancements*

Contract: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Work from a children's home where children and young people aged between 11 and 17 live.
  • Eat and sleep at the home with the children and undertake basic household tasks – cleaning, cooking, shopping.
  • Listen and engage our children in 1:1 work around feelings, emotions and behaviours and link with professionals such as social workers, schools, police, and health workers to ensure needs are met.
  • Work on a rota basis with a mix of days, evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts.
  • Promote creative, fun activities; support children to develop in all areas of life.
