Lancashire School Improvement Service is seeking to appoint a Primary Adviser to join our successful and dynamic team. Deployment will be across Lancashire according to Service need.
The post requires the adviser to provide high quality support, challenge and monitoring for nursery and primary schools. You would be joining a well-established, credible and highly supportive team of experienced advisers with a very strong reputation across Lancashire and beyond.
Are you:
- a qualified teacher with successful teaching and headship experience in primary or nursery education;
- able to bring a broad repertoire of strategies for securing school improvement, including an understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements and the inclusion agenda;
- passionate about enabling all children to achieve their full potential in education.
Successful candidates will have:
- excellent nursery / primary school headship experience;
- the ability to inspire and to be creative;
- effective organisational skills;
- excellent understanding of inclusive practice and how to support children with complex needs at a strategic level;
- a current driving licence and a car available for their full-time use as the role will involve travelling across Lancashire and beyond.
