Salary Β£25,989 – Β£28,142 per annum | 22.2 hours per week | Fixed term, Part time | Children\’s Social Care | Lancashire

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Minute Taker to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children\’s Directorate.

Role and Location

This post sits within Children\’s Social Care based in the East Area (Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley depending on the successful candidate\\\’s home address). We are currently working a combination of home and office working; you will be required to have a suitable confidential working space within your home and an appropriate broadband connection. You may be required to work from a variety of locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide minute taking support for a variety of meetings to operational staff, managers and Independent Reviewing Officers.
  • Support the Education and Children\\\’s Directorate in accurate and timely recording of discussions and actions.

What we are looking for

  • Passion – You\\\’ll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it\\\’s what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you\\\’ve developed elsewhere.
  • Knowledge and Experience – Ideally experience in an administration setting with knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
  • Great Communication – Ability to engage with Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the team, clearly convey information and listen to individual requirements.
