Casual Community Support Worker (Evenings and Weekends).
Location: Great Harwood, Meadowfold.
Salary & Hours: £13.45 per hour + 25% on weekends (maximum £16.80). Hours are flexible to fit the candidate and service need. As a casual role, staff are not guaranteed regular hours and must take a break from working at least every 6 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with disabilities in a person‐centred approach, including personal care, health maintenance and participation in social and leisure activities.
- Communicate effectively with people with disabilities, their families, other staff, professionals and local community members.
- Assist individuals to live independently in their own homes, including overnight support when required.
- Provide support during short‐break residential stays, carrying out household tasks and facilitating leisure and social activities in the local community.
Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to learn the required support skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offences Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and DBS disclosure.
- Intended for UK residents only – this role is not open to international sponsorship.
