We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team within the Education and Children’s Directorate. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Inclusion Service, helping ensure children, families, and professionals receive the high-quality support they need. If you enjoy being organised, helping others, and working as part of a collaborative team, this could be the perfect opportunity—whether you're experienced in admin or looking to grow your skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing high-quality administrative support to managers and operational teams
  • Supporting Social Workers, managers, and professionals across the Inclusion Service
  • Communicating with families, colleagues, and members of the public
  • Using systems and data to support service delivery and decision-making
  • Helping ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for great service
  • Experience in an administrative or office-based role (or a strong willingness to learn)
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and databases
  • Strong communication skills

You’ll interact with a wide range of people, so being able to communicate clearly, listen carefully, and respond with empathy is essential.
