As a Business Analyst you will:
- Help identify and shape digital change opportunities highlighted by Strategic Business Partners and senior stakeholders.
- Use structured analysis to understand complex business problems to create clear, evidence‑based requirements and benefits.
- Facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders and support commissioning activity to ensure new digital solutions are viable, user‑centred and aligned with business objectives.
- Work with services to assess options and inform digital solutions that improve how the Council operates.
- Support the delivery of projects, understanding feasibility and benefits, and contribute to service design and smooth transition into operational support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional certification or substantial experience in business analysis, or similar roles.
- Significant experience analysing and designing business processes, ideally in a complex or public‑sector environment.
- Significant experience applying business analysis methodologies, assessing digital options, quantifying benefits and contributing to business cases, and requirements gathering.
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and present evidence‑based recommendations.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience eliciting, creating and managing requirements.
