Salary £32,061-£33,363 Per annum | Permanent | Full Time, 37 hours per week

Location: County Hall Preston, hybrid role with home working.

Children & Family Wellbeing's (CFW) Management Information (MI) team plays a central role in supporting the CFW Service, providing analysis to develop our understanding of the children, young people and their families across Lancashire. We develop business‑critical reports, performance analysis and support statutory and regulatory requirements.

This role is key to producing and improving the information used by operational teams and senior managers in the Children & Family Wellbeing Service. Supporting the service in the delivery and continuous improvement of early help services for children, young people and families in line with the vision for Children and Families in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong technical skills, a practical understanding of information governance, and a collaborative approach to supporting colleagues across the service.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences, with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of DPIAs, Information Sharing Agreements and Privacy Notices for new/changed processes.
  • Support internal/external communications (e.g. intranet pages, guidance notes, briefings, Social Media) so that content meets LCC and service standards.
  • Process, cleanse and integrate data from MI systems and the Council’s master data management (MDM) solution.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights and concise narrative to inform decision‑making.

Further Information

The usual office base for this role is County Hall Preston, although it is currently a hybrid role which includes an amount of home working.
