The Headteacher and Governors of Broughton-in-Amounderness Church of England School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and engaging class teacher who will also lead English in school from September 2026. This is a permanent position that would suit an experienced teacher with the drive and determination to succeed.

  • Has experience of working in key stage one or two;
  • Has experience of leading English or one of the core subjects;

Essential Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level;
  • Teaching qualification;
  • Qualified teacher status.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Further qualifications and/or studies relevant to the primary age range;
  • Full and active member of a church in membership of Churches together in England.
Essential Experience
  • Recent primary school teaching experience;
  • A candidate who is familiar with the demands of the National Curriculum;
  • Has experience of leading one of the core subjects.
Desirable Experience
  • Faith reference.
