Overview
We are a busy, inclusive school working hard to engage all children in learning and develop their independence and resilience. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Have responsibility for working with a group of children
- Cover classes when required
- Work under the direction of the class teacher
- Work using their own initiative
- Commit to CPD opportunities
- Commit to extra-curricular activities where possible
- Ensure the highest possible standards in education for young children
Qualifications
Previous experience of working in a school is desirable. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated, with high expectations of children and themselves.
Hours and Salary
You will work 27.5 hours per week, Term Time only plus one week of additional hours for extra-curricular support. Salary range: £28,142–£32,061 full-time equivalent (actual pro-rata salary: £17,686–£20,149).
