The Tree Management Team at Lancashire County Council is looking for an experienced tree officer to work in the eastern districts of Lancashire (Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, & Rossendale). The post involves delivering arboricultural management services including:
- Carrying out and recording of inspections
- Providing specialist arboricultural advice
- Providing technical assistance and mentorship to junior colleagues
- Maintaining effective relationships and communications with other agencies
- Providing technical advice to deliver projects for other services
Qualifications / Experience
- Managing tree assets for large organisations
- GIS and inventory systems
- Managing arboricultural contracts
