Lancashire Constabulary is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to support the day-to-day catering service for officers, staff, and visitors. This is an important front line support role helping to ensure a high-quality food service in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- To support the Kitchen Team Leader in delivering the catering function within the specific catering facility by assisting in the preparation of food, servicing of meals with agreed methods and portion control, stock taking including checking and receipting of deliveries, appropriate labelling and storage of stock.
- To maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring the cleaning schedule and daily checks are completed as and when required within the function.
Skills And Experience
- Food Hygiene and Safety qualification (level 2)
- Full UK Manual Driving License
Vetting And Medical
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting. There is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment. The successful candidate will be required to work in accordance with the attached rota.
