Job Description
Airwave Systems Engineer

Lancashire Constabulary’s ICT Department is seeking an Airwave Engineer to be based at Hutton HQ. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.

The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality provision of ICT customer support and service through programming, repair and maintenance of ICT equipment, ensuring service delivery is aligned to operational and customer needs.

You will also be responsible to:

- The installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution, in relation to ICT equipment and services across the Constabulary.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers, stakeholders and ICT staff in order to maximise system performance and to facilitate the implementation of changes and new products/applications.
- Contribute to the design, installation and support of Airwave systems, including the specification of equipment requirements.
- Participate in the ICT On Call Rota.
- Undertake other duties and additional responsibilities as determined by the Senior Airwave Engineer, consistent with the grading of the post.
