Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Children’s Learning Disability Service. The Learning Disability Service aims to provide high-quality, forward-thinking services in partnership with other agencies. We work with young people with learning disabilities and their families, emphasizing health promotion through service development and training initiatives. We are committed to staff development and fostering an enthusiastic, experienced team.
Role Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to address the psychological, emotional, and behavioural needs of children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Manage your caseload and deliver a range of evidence-based interventions.
- Support the Autism pathway and undertake assessments for school-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Supervise other practitioners within the service.
- Adaptability, good communication skills, and self-motivation are essential.
- Practice should be evidence-based and innovative.
