We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Leader to join the Whalley Learning Disability Inpatient Service. One of the Trust's aims is to deliver the best possible care to our patients. Working with the multi‑disciplinary team, the post holder will lead and be responsible for the delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based care and patient experience within the care group's inpatient settings, providing proactive clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary staff within their clinical area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being visible and leading by example.
  • Using clinical judgement and observations.
  • Ensuring clinical development of staff and student nurses.
  • Ensuring that patients and carers are fully involved in the planning and delivery of care.
  • Taking responsibility for shift coordination and leading the team in the delivery of safe, effective and quality clinical care.

  • Driving up clinical standards.
