We are excited to advertise a Team Lead position within the Central & West Network for our Talking Therapies Team in West Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified and experienced practitioner to consolidate and expand upon their management skills. We are looking for a highly motivated, pro‑active individual who is looking for their next challenge.
About the role
The post‑holder will work alongside the Operational and Clinical leadership team, providing support to the Service Manager and clinicians alike within the respective team. A Deputy will also support them along with Senior PWPs. The post‑holder will need to be available to work full‑time Monday‑Friday with an expectation of hybrid work from base and home.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality therapeutic services within the Talking Therapies service.
- Provide formal managerial supervision and mentorship to clinical staff.
- Work autonomously and in a team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal qualities and time management skills.
- Support the Service Manager and clinicians within the team, collaborating with a Deputy and Senior PWPs.
- Attend regular managerial supervision and support sessions, joining other senior clinicians within the service.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience working within the field of mental health and significant knowledge and experience of working within a Talking Therapies service.
- Proven record of accomplishment in delivering high‑quality therapeutic services.
- Excellent interpersonal qualities, time management skills, and an ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Experience of providing formal managerial supervision / mentorship to clinical staff.
- Enthusiasm for working in an ever‑developing Talking Therapies service.
