Applications are invited for an Administrator to provide comprehensive service to the NHS Talking Therapy teams at various locations across Lancashire. The post holder will coordinate activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for the unit/department, providing comprehensive customer service and enquiry provision to internal and external customers of the Trust.
- Allocate and dispatch internal/external mail in line with the Trust policy.
- Provide comprehensive administrative service, including compilation of reports and other correspondence on behalf of the manager and other team members, ensuring a high standard in accordance with Trust standards.
- Collaborate with the appropriate management teams and other departments, including clinicians, to ensure that appropriate leads are notified in the case of matters of urgency and dealt with in a timely manner.
- Maintain and manage a forward‑looking planning system to ensure that deadlines are met by other team members and colleagues.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and administrative service meetings as required to support the smooth running of an integrated service and team‑based administrative approach.
Qualifications
Evidence of relevant previous experience, a good general education, and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. Knowledge of working within the NHS will be an advantage, and computer skills will be essential.

Flexible working patterns are available, including term time, part time, compressed hours, flexi‑time and career breaks.
