We are seeking an experienced financial accountant to play a central role in providing a high quality and comprehensive financial accounting service to the Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong NHS technical expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement to join our team.
Main Duties of the Job
- Support the delivery of the full range of accounting operations to enable the Trust to fulfil its statutory and non‑statutory obligations, including the preparation of annual accounts and the management of financial systems, cash and capital.
- This role requires a motivated individual with strong IT skills, professional credibility and the ability to build effective relationships across the department.

Person Specification
- Qualifications: CCAB Qualified with evidence of current membership and post‑qualification experience. Commitment and evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Knowledge: Strong IT skills with the ability to apply this to the development of highly complex financial models. Highly developed knowledge of financial systems. Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret highly complex data.
- Experience: In depth knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and legislation. Sound knowledge of NHS Finance Policies and Guidance. Experience of working with senior managers / professionals.
