An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Physiotherapist with the knowledge, skills and experience to work at advanced level with people with a learning disability and/or autism. This is a rare chance to shape and strengthen physiotherapy provision across both community services and Water Meadow View, the Trust’s specialist mental health inpatient unit for people with a learning disability.
The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in championing high quality, equitable, person‑centred care, ensuring that people are supported to maximise physical health, participation and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- The post holder will provide clinical support to professionals working in the service and deliver expert assessment and intervention.
- You will also have the opportunity to use your skills, knowledge and experience to facilitate and lead complex clinical work across the care group footprint, influencing practice across pathways and settings.
- This post offers genuine scope to innovate, develop new ways of working and help transform services across organisational boundaries, strengthening joint working with partners and improving outcomes for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
