An exciting opportunity has arisen within the dementia unit at Dane Garth for the position of housekeeper. This new role will support the clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the ward.
Your primary responsibility will be for the co-ordination of all patient and staff facilities with the ward environment, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

Within this role you will also be responsible for –
• To establish a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere and environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• To assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards; ensuring bed areas are cleaned following the discharge of a patient, soap dispensers etc are replenished, hygiene standards of the kitchen area and maintain the general tidiness of the ward environment.
• To undertake regular monitoring of current and outstanding estates issues
• Ensure linen supplies are maintained and liaise with laundry services
• Ensure that patients are provided with appropriate meals and beverages at regular intervals
• Serve and assist with the serving of meals
• Serve drinks to patients
