The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 ÂŁ per year.

Applications are invited for an experienced B4 Medical Secretary to provide secretarial and administration support to the Community Mental Health Team Consultant and Medics at Mountcroft Resource Centre at Fleetwood. The successful applicant will be offered full on‑the‑job training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities with other members of the secretarial team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
  • Manage office administration for the Consultant and other medical staff within the team, supporting a safe, efficient and effective clinical service.
  • Organise own time and prioritise workload, ensuring urgent matters are dealt with efficiently and record keeping is accurate and complete.
  • Utilize good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and external agencies as required.
  • Execute medical audio‑typing and live typing if requested by the Consultant (e.g., Best Interest Meetings, Professionals Meetings).
  • Employ technical skills including word‑processing, email and computerised diary systems, and electronic systems related to clinical records.

Requirements

  • Advanced word‑processing and audio‑typing skills.
  • Experience of audio‑typing and some live typing if required.
  • Previous secretarial experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and a flexible approach, with the ability to work across other sites if required.
  • Proficiency with word‑processing, email and computerised diary systems, and electronic systems relating to clinical records.
