Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an innovative, dynamic and growing multi‑disciplinary Community CYPMH in LSCFT- Fylde and Wyre. The children & young people who access our services present with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties ranging from moderate to severe.

You would be joining an established, supportive and hardworking team who are passionate about improving the outcomes for the children, young people and their families/carers.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting mental health assessments and formulations
  • Building therapeutic relationships with children and young people and delivering evidence based interventions (including group treatment)
  • Liaising with and offering consultation to other agencies
  • Contributing to all aspects of positive team functioning
  • Contributing to ongoing service innovations and development

About the Trust

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well‑being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
