An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Registered Nurse to work in the Central Lancashire District Nursing Services.
Responsibilities
- The successful applicant will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a variety of settings, and will be part of an innovative, dynamic district nursing team.
- To work as part of the 24-hour community nursing service, under the direction of the district nursing team leader, providing high quality holistic nursing care to patients.
- The staff nurse role carries delegated responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based nursing to patients in their own homes and other community settings.
- To assume delegated responsibility for the supervision of the team in the absence of the district nursing team leader when required.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Registered Nurse, patient and family focused, with excellent communication skills and an interest in community district nursing.
- Flexible, self-motivated individuals prepared to work between the hours of 7.45 to 22.00 over a 7-day period.
