Overview We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an 8b clinical or forensic Psychologist to join the Forensic Autism Service (FAS). The FAS is dedicated to reducing admission to secure inpatient services, supporting discharges, and preventing re‑admission for service users with autism. Responsibilities Undertake assessments and risk assessments. Provide detailed formulations to support the understanding of service users. Consult and advise a wide variety of colleagues and stakeholders. Communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, stakeholders, and external agencies. Offer supervision to fellow team members. Develop and deliver training. Undertake audit and service evaluation. Inform and develop practice and service provision. Qualifications Experience and expertise working in forensic settings. Excellent awareness of autism and expertise in risk assessment and management. Strong formulation skills and experience in providing consultation and training. Ability to work with clients presenting a full range of clinical needs and risk behaviours. Capable of engaging with complex clinical, professional, and ethical challenges. Benefits
