An exciting opportunity has arisen at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust for a Network Pharmacy Director in the Fylde Coast (Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre). Operationally responsible for the delivery of exemplary clinical services within the locality, you will engage closely with senior leaders within the Fylde Coast as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team.
You will undertake corporate pharmacy responsibilities supporting strong governance processes, evidence based practices and service improvement initiatives. 0.2wte will be dedicated to an assigned portfolio role (Education and Training, Digital and Technology, Patient Safety or Research and Development).
We are looking for pharmacists with the relevant experience, vision and enthusiasm for high quality, patient centred care. The successful applicant will have well-developed leadership skills, management experience, be self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills.
You will have a good knowledge of Therapeutics and Clinical Pharmacy in both mental health and physical health with the focus on delivering a joined up approach to good pharmaceutical care across all care settings. You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
The Network Pharmacy Director will be based within the Fylde Coast. Services delivered within the Fylde Coast locality include inpatient adult and older people’s and community mental health services, including crisis home based treatment and initial response (single point of access) services. The network will also be mobilising services to Children and Young People.
