SV Support Practitioner
Core Purpose of Job: To deliver specialist therapeutic support and information services to survivors of sexual violence at our main premises, at outreach locations across Lanarkshire and via virtual methods.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on the development and delivery of the Young Survivors Support Service project.
- Work collaboratively within existing staff teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Engage and support survivors aged 12-25 years and adults over 25.
- Provide individual and peer support options to aid recovery from sexual violence or abuse.
Role context: The position is funded primarily under the National Lottery Community Fund, Improving Lives - Young Persons Project 2025-2027, and also under the Scottish Government Delivering Equally Safe Fund.
