We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Kitchen & Bedroom Sales professional to take full ownership of our busy showroom. This is a hands-on role suited to someone ready to step into (or further develop within) a managerial position, with responsibility for both sales performance and day-to-day showroom operations. You will manage the entire customer journey—from initial enquiry through to design, quotation, order fulfilment, and after-sales care—while proactively identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and operate the showroom independently, ensuring high standards of presentation and customer experience at all times.
- Engage with customers, understanding their needs and guiding them through the full sales process.
- Produce accurate CAD designs and detailed quotations.
- Conduct site visits and carry out measurements as required.
- Handle order processing, liaising closely with the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
- Resolve any issues relating to orders, deliveries, or installations efficiently and professionally.
- Provide excellent after-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
- Proactively seek and develop new sales opportunities, including local marketing and lead generation.
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure the space is clean, organised, and up to date.
Requirements
- Proven experience in kitchen (and ideally bedroom) sales within the industry.
- Demonstrable experience in a showroom environment, with exposure to management responsibilities preferred.
- Strong CAD design skills and experience producing customer-ready plans and quotations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to sales development.
- Full UK driving licence (required for site visits).
