Based in Feltham, this is a full-time, permanent position offering £41,491 plus a van and fuel card. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 4.00pm.
About The Role:
As a Carpenter Multi Tradesperson, you will provide high-quality, customer-focused service, delivering a range of multi-trade and carpentry works within our residential services department in and around the London Borough of Hounslow.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Carry out a range of carpentry and multi-trade works including all wet trades such as plastering, carpentry, decorating (both externally and internally), and tiling, using a schedule of rates.
- Have the knowledge and skills competency to complete full repairs and maintenance service to a high specification quality standard using contract specifications.
- Plan each job and ensure the required materials are available to complete the work to schedule.
- Maintain the current achievement of 100% customer satisfaction.
- Perform all duties associated with a fully qualified Multi Trade Engineer.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Display a high level of customer care when dealing with tenants and leaseholders.
- Promote customer satisfaction by working in a clean and tidy manner, ensuring minimal disruption to residents during repairs.
- Ensure all tools, materials, and any associated debris are removed from sites following repairs, leaving homes and communal areas in a clean and tidy state.
Education & Qualifications Required:
- Apprenticeship / City & Guilds/ NVQ 2-3 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
Previous Experience and Skills Required:
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Tradesperson or Carpenter.
- Experience working in a Social Housing environment is desirable.
- Good level of numeracy, literacy, written, oral, and communication skills.
- Experience of an out-of-hours emergency make-safe service.
