The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Leisure Centre, ensuring a safe, enjoyable and quality customer experience. Ultimately, you will ensure all operations flow smoothly and help us meet our company goals. You will also be a key holder for the building and therefore, will be responsible for opening and closing the site whilst on shift. Our sites are open from 6am - 10pm so flexibility with working hours is required.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Opening and closing of site and being first point of contact for any queries whilst on duty.
- Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of the facility.
- Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly pool plant operations, tasks and checks.
- Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns & report on the management system.
- Perform pool hygiene & safety checks.
- Provide first class customer service to all users of the facility.
- Address any customer queries or complaints.
- Ideally hold or be able to work towards a First Aid at Work Qualification.
- Ideally hold or be able to work towards a Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
- Ideally hold or be able to work towards a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Previous experience of managing operations within the leisure sector, both wet and dry side.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- The ability to communicate clearly, influence and motivate staff.
- Experience of working within a Health & Safety critical environment with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment is essential.
