Gymnastics at Lampton Leisure is expanding its gymnastics programme to Hanworth and Chiswick.
To support this growth, we are funding candidates to enrol in the 4‑day Gymnastics Activity Instructor (GAI) course.
Upon completion you will be accredited to deliver recreational gymnastics sessions on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Positions are available at Brentford, Heston, Hanworth and Chiswick.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, engaging and safe sessions across Parent & Child, Pre‑School and Recreational age groups.
- Instruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form and routines.
- Provide constructive feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills.
- Plan, organise and review lesson content to meet the badge framework and session goals.
- Assist with equipment set‑up, session briefings and ensure safe use of apparatus.
- Maintain high standards in safeguarding, health & safety and inclusive practice.
- Liaise with parents and carers to support participant progress and feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements
- No prior qualifications required; training will be provided.
- Passion for gymnastics and ability to create a fun and safe environment.
- Friendly, empathetic and patient personality.
- Excellent communication skills with adults and children.
- Over 18 years of age.
