About the Job Leading a team to provide a customer focused repair / replacement service, the primary purpose of this role is to deliver high quality, effective and efficient services in accordance with any and all agreements with our clients. Key Responsibilities include: – To lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of operatives, supervisors, administrators, and schedulers and achieve a high-quality output and service. • To proactively manage the availability of the team, directly and through line management, including annual leave, sickness, training and any other reason. • To manage and monitor the cost and use of materials. • To manage and monitor subcontractors when engaged in carrying our work on the company’s behalf. • To work as one team to utilise the team efficiently and effectively. • To liaise, communicate and work with other stakeholders, including but not limited to: client representatives, suppliers, contractors, colleagues, residents and others as required. • To understand, take responsibility for, and report performance, both financial and operational, internally and externally as required. • To work as one team to continuously improve the productivity and service delivery. Experience & Qualifications: – Project management and delivery experience. Working knowledge of Schedule of Rates. To write and present operational and commercial reports to internal and external audiences. To be able read, understand and interpret risk assessments and method statements. To be able to meet pre-determined deadlines and performance targets. To be able to motivate, lead and manage a team to deliver high quality results in a challenging environment. Ability to deal sympathetically with residents and leaseholders. Able to use judgement and discretion. Able to work on own initiative or part of team /take responsibility. Ability to communicate effectively with a positive approach to solving daily work challenges. Demonstrates high levels of energy and commitment. Essential Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams. Use company ICT to receive and manage daily work schedules.
