Gymnastics at Lampton Leisure
We are excited to be launching a new gymnastics programme at our Heston and Brentford sites. To support the growth of our programme, we are looking for enthusiastic Level 1 and Level 2 gymnastics coaches to help lead our new recreational gymnastics programme at Lampton Leisure. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing programme, working with children of all abilities in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What is the job of a Gymnastics Coach?
As qualified gymnastics coaches, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sessions, ensuring a positive and safe experience for every participant. You will help shape the development of gymnastics within Lampton Leisure, while supporting the growth of your team through mentoring and coaching support.
You will:
- Deliver structured, engaging, and safe sessions across Parent & Child, Pre-School, and Recreational age groups.
- Instruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form, and routines.
- Provide constructive feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills.
- Help plan, organise, and review lesson content to meet badge framework and session goals.
- Help with equipment set-up, session briefings, and ensure safe use of apparatus.
- Maintain high standards in safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice.
- Liaise with parents and carers to support participant progress and feedback.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for confident leaders who are passionate about gymnastics and coaching.
You will:
- Hold a recognised Level 1 or 2 qualification in gymnastics coaching (IGA or BG)
- Have experience coaching gymnastic sessions
- Be confident working with children aged 2–12 across various ability levels
- Show strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Understand and uphold safeguarding, welfare, and safety standards at all times
