Our Lifeguards are enthusiastic, responsible, and hardworking individuals. A Lifeguard's job can't be underestimated, and neither can the responsibility that comes with this vital lifeguarding role. If you're calm under pressure, highly responsible, and natural with people from all walks of life, this is your chance to develop as a Lifeguard. Lifeguarding can also be a stepping-stone towards a career in the leisure industry.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Help our visitors stay safe and healthy when using our brilliant wet facilities
- Do everything you can to create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
- Make sure everyone who arrives at our centres enjoys a warm welcome and efficient service
- Be attentive and alert at all times
- Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
- Qualified lifeguards carry out pool testing, and other health and safety checks, and supervise the pool in accordance with RLSS standards and site operation procedures
Experience and Qualifications Required
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience delivering first class customer service
- Be willing to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
