Lampstand Learning | NW11, London | Opening Autumn 2026
We're opening our first nursery in Golders Green and are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to help us build it properly from the start.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit years of existing systems, habits, and challenges. Instead, you'll work alongside the founders to establish the culture, standards, policies, team, and family experience from day one.
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating as much as managing. Someone who takes pride in developing strong teams, building trusted relationships with families, and setting high standards for quality, safeguarding, and practice.
You'll be involved before opening, helping to recruit the team, establish operational systems, develop policies and procedures, prepare for registration, and ensure the nursery launches with strong foundations in place.
As occupancy grows, you'll lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, support and develop your team, maintain compliance, and help create an environment where children are known, valued, and given the confidence to thrive.
About Lampstand Learning
Lampstand Learning has been created around a simple belief: young children learn best when they feel secure, connected, and free to explore.
Our setting combines high-quality early years education with meaningful outdoor experiences, strong parent partnerships, nutritious food, and carefully designed learning environments.
We are creating a nursery that feels calm, welcoming, and purposeful — somewhere children love attending, families trust completely, and educators are proud to work.
About the Role

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build something from the beginning and see the direct impact of your leadership on the children, families, and team around you.
