We're hiring a Commercial Producer, who will champion our 'Content Works' video marketing service and assist with general production management & business development tasks. This role sits at the intersection of account management and creative execution, requiring both commercial acumen and production understanding to deliver successful commercial video projects.
Lamplight Media is an award-winning full-service media production company based by Tannery Film Studios in Woking, Surrey. We specialise in story-led films and social media content that connects, captivates, and delivers commercial impact. Founded in 2022, we've grown to work with clients such as Surrey County Council, Ann Summers, & Kew Gardens.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the customer journey from initial inquiry through to project completion and ongoing retention.
- Leading the marketing strategy for the Content Works service, including pipeline development, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Overseeing production workflows and collaborating with the creative team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for Content Works clients, championing their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Identifying opportunities for service expansion, upselling, and new business development within existing and prospective client accounts.
- Contributing to the strategic development of the Content Works offering based on market insights and client feedback.
- Building and nurturing a robust pipeline of prospective clients through proactive outreach, networking, and marketing activities.
- Coordinating with the creative team to translate client briefs into executable production plans.
- Monitoring project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient delivery and profitability.
- Travelling to client locations, industry events, and production sites across the UK as required.
- Working flexible hours when client needs or project deadlines demand, including occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend availability.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding client information, commercial agreements, and proprietary business information.
- Possessing strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and productions simultaneously.
- Having 2-3 years of previous experience in client liaison, relationship building, or account management roles, demonstrating success in maintaining client satisfaction.
- Showing good commercial awareness with an understanding of profitability, pricing, and business development.
- Showing enthusiasm for creative work and storytelling, with genuine interest in video content and marketing.
- Possessing emotional intelligence and the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders including clients, creative team members, and external partners.
- Having previous client relationship experience in the creative industries, media production, or related fields.
- Basic video editing experience or understanding of post-production workflows.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategies, and content marketing principles.
- Basic familiarity with proposal writing, contract negotiation, or commercial documentation.
- A network of contacts within potential client sectors or related industries.
- Experience working with creative teams or managing creative projects.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Hybrid - 3 days per week in office, with flexibility for client meetings and production requirements.
Location: Based by Tannery Film Studios, Woking, Surrey with travel throughout the UK as required.
