We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Lamond Veterinary Clinic on a full-time basis, with a £1000 welcome bonus. Our practice is fully equipped to provide comprehensive care and features a recently refurbished clinical space. Facilities include a dedicated theatre, digital radiography, dental X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, and multiparameter monitoring. We also have separate dog and cat wards to support species-specific care and comfort.
Conveniently located in Murieston, Livingston, the clinic offers easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as direct transport links via two nearby train stations - one of which is right next to the practice. Our location also provides a gateway to Scotland’s scenic Highlands.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a flexible rota pattern between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The role also includes participation in a 2 in 9 Saturday rota, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no out-of-hours or on-call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We will also accept part-time applications.
General responsibilities include:
- Nurse consultations
- Pharmacy
- Performing radiography including dental x-rays
- General inpatient care
- Assisting with theatre and surgical procedures
