We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Lamond Veterinary Clinic on a full‑time basis, with a £1000 welcome bonus. Our practice is fully equipped to provide comprehensive care and features a recently refurbished clinical space. Facilities include a dedicated theatre, digital radiography, dental X‑ray, ultrasound, in‑house laboratory equipment, and multiparameter monitoring. We also have separate dog and cat wards to support species‑specific care and comfort. Conveniently located in Murieston, Livingston, the clinic offers easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as direct transport links via two nearby train stations—one of which is right next to the practice. Our location also provides a gateway to Scotland’s scenic Highlands.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full‑time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a flexible rota pattern between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The role also includes participation in a 2 in 9 Saturday rota, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy work‑life balance. We will also accept part‑time applications.
General responsibilities include:
