We're looking for a skilled, motivated and experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join a busy and well-established service centre team specialising in the repair and overhaul of industrial gearboxes and pumps.
You'll play a key part in ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and reliability while working on a wide range of equipment every day. If you enjoy problem-solving, precision engineering, and working in a practical workshop environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a supportive team.
As our Rotating Equipment Engineer you will:
- Produce clear and accurate inspection reports, identifying faults and recommending solutions
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Use measuring and testing equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Take ownership of your work, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output with minimal supervision
- Support day-to-day workshop activities, maintaining strong standards across quality, health & safety, and environmental practices
- Respond to urgent repair requirements when needed
Requirements:
- An engineering apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering data
- Experience using precision measuring and testing equipment
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and best practice
- Previous experience in a repair or service workshop environment
- Health & safety, quality, or environmental training
- Work on a wide variety of complex industrial equipment
