Care, made daily. Hometel is a term created and owned by Lamington Group. We design and operate hometels, combining practicality with feeling. It responds to how people actually travel and live. We also recognise the importance of the sense of being properly looked after. A team that pays attention to what guests actually need, not what a script tells us they should.
We are looking for people who care about the work in front of them and the people around them. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
THE ROLE
You are the AI-driven Marketing Executive at Lamington Group, anchoring our marketing team's technological thrust, brand consistency, and creative engine across all properties. This role isn't about managing from a back office; it’s about taking raw ownership of our modern marketing toolkit, directing our creative output, and ensuring our brand shows up with sharp, unhurried precision.
Your work directly impacts how our brand is experienced, from AI-powered campaign efficiency to a consistent presence across social media, PR, and design. You drive our marketing rhythm by turning cutting-edge AI capabilities into practical initiatives for content ideation, campaign optimisation, guest insights, and reporting. When guests encounter our brand online, in the press, or through design touchpoints, they instantly recognise the standards and sharp voice you protect.
Your day is active, diverse, and visually grounded. Partnering with the Head of Marketing on AI priorities and collaborating with your Senior Marketing Executive colleague on digital campaigns, you lead primarily by directing execution. As the main contact for specialist social and PR agencies, you set clear briefs, enforce brand guidelines, and hold partners to high standards. You balance strategic briefing with hands-on design for day-to-day assets, managing freelance designers for larger projects while keeping tools, agencies, and internal teams moving in lockstep.
This role offers the satisfaction of shaping a modern, high-performing marketing ecosystem that fuels Lamington Group. You will strengthen your strategic creative leadership, AI expertise, and agency management skills within a culture built on straight talking and trust, the ultimate path for a forward-thinking marketer looking to pioneer the future of hospitality marketing.
WHO YOU ARE
Five things we hire for. These are the Lamington Group Values. We use them across every role in the Group, from Maintenance to Front of House to our Marketing team. If three or more of these read like you on a good day, this is your kind of place.
- Use Instinct. You read creative and cultural signals early. You trust your judgment when evaluating agency output, tuning into guest feedback, or spotting where an AI tool can genuinely add value with care.
- Own It. You take raw ownership of our brand presence and finish what you start. You are honest about which campaigns work and which don't, and you hold yourself, freelancers, and agencies to high standards.
- Include All. You build trust quickly with agencies, freelancers, and internal property teams. You communicate openly, give clear feedback, and bridge the gap between central marketing and on-the-ground teams.
- Stay Curious. You constantly test, learn, and ask why. You keep exploring new AI tools, design platforms, and social trends, taking the time to understand how a tool works before rolling it out to the team.
- Think Big. You reject 'good enough' in creative execution. You spot workflow patterns, propose smarter AI initiatives, and bring fresh ideas that elevate our brand across every property.
We don't hire just for years of hotel experience. We can teach the systems. We can't teach you how to spot a great creative idea, direct a brand voice, or read a room.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
On a good day, you might…
- Start the day reviewing AI tool outputs, agency campaign performance, and social engagement data, refining daily priorities and aligning with the Head of Marketing on new AI pilots before agency syncs begin.
- Lead our creative engine from the front, running pilot programs for AI-powered content ideation, campaign optimization, and guest insights that make the entire marketing team and our agencies faster and sharper.
- Ensure unhurried brand excellence across all four properties by personally auditing PR materials, social media calendars, and guest-facing collateral, making sure every touchpoint stays crisp, accurate, and completely on-brand.
- Brief, support, and direct our specialist social and PR agencies throughout the week, setting clear messaging priorities, giving constructive creative feedback, and holding them to high standards across all four properties.
- Keep communication flowing seamlessly across teams, working side-by-side with your Senior Marketing Executive colleague to keep agency activity, digital campaigns, and pipeline property launches running in complete alignment.
- Notice and act on brand performance quickly, stepping in directly on social channels to provide a fast, human response when needed, while constantly building and refining the team’s practical AI toolkit so workflows stay agile.
- Stay one step ahead, producing day-to-day design assets yourself, managing freelance designers on major creative projects, and tracking the ROI of AI initiatives, reporting clear metrics on time saved and performance uplift directly to the Head of Marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience that fits the role.
- Proven marketing experience in social media, PR, communications, or account management, with hands-on expertise using generative AI tools, automated workflows, and AI-assisted analytics to drive marketing performance.
- Confidence in managing external partners, setting sharp creative briefs, and holding specialist social and PR agencies to high standards across multiple properties while directing freelance design projects through to delivery.
- A reliable, methodical approach with a keen eye for visual design and brand voice, keeping a steady content calendar across four properties, producing day-to-day creative assets, and maintaining strict brand consistency across all channels.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a natural ability to give clear direction to agencies, freelancers, and AI tools alike, while working seamlessly with your Senior Marketing Executive colleague and property teams.
- An experimental, proactive mindset, someone who takes raw ownership of our AI strategy, spotting new marketing technologies, running live pilots, and transparently measuring or retiring tools based on clear efficiency and performance gains.
- Practical design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe, or AI design platforms, combined with the organizational drive to manage agency KPIs, deliver high-quality outputs, and earn strong stakeholder satisfaction from the Head of Marketing.
