We are currently seeking a passionate Duty Manager to inspire the team and deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the building and the people in the absence of the Assistant and General Manager
- Lead the team to create ‘can’t wait to return’ experiences for our guests
- Lead the team of house hosts and Duty managers
- Ensure that the team are managing reservation enquiries (e‑mail, phone & in person) with a kind & considered approach
- Be the ‘in the know’ person for guests enquiries & questions
- Lead team meetings with constructive feedback to improve operational performance and guest experiences
- Ensure that the team are taking payments and balancing the books at the end of the day
- Ensure the team completes property patrols to ensure safety & security
- Be accountable for the safety of your property
- Deal with housekeeping and maintenance on day to day
- Be initiative‑led when dealing with challenging situations or guest complaints making sure our guests leave happy
- Be confident working alone and be a happy, positive influence when working as part of a team
- Be part of the management team in all aspects of the day‑to‑day operation
