This is a hybrid role which will combine remote working with site presence in client projects.

Purpose of the role: You will be helping to plan some of the most complex and interesting projects in the world.

This role is part of our Project Management Consultancy which focuses on:

  • Understanding what the real problems of projects are
  • Implementing the best solutions to those problems
  • Developing scalable best practices, tools and technology

Your top 3 objectives:

  3. To develop yourself and everyone around you

Your top 5 responsibilities:

  1. Own the project plan for one or more projects and ensure that the project is working to it effectively.
  2. You are responsible for putting in your best effort to ensure the project’s understanding and focus on the plan.
  3. Provide simple actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Develop scalable and repeatable best practices and tools in collaboration with the team.
  5. Maximise the development of your team personally and professionally.

We train you in the full breadth of project management skills including planning, commercial, leadership, communication and technology.

Must-Have (The fundamentals):

  • Construction engineering background with at least 2+ years of experience on construction projects
  • Proficient communicator in written and verbal English
  • You lead yourself proactively and lead others by asking the right questions
  • A track record of making projects and organisations better

Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now you will be trained intensively after joining):

  • Decent Excel skills and a strong interest in data
  • The charisma, influence and presence to get construction people to do new things
  • A proven leader/coach/developer of teams
  • A track record of implementing scalable and repeatable solutions
