The Role

You’ll enhance the delivery of the most complex and interesting projects through the power of project planning to the highest standards. You’ll devise strategies and tactics to improve how the project is delivered, translate this knowledge into a logic‑linked plan, analyse it using planning software, and use the plan to help teams prioritize.

Your Team

This role is part of our Project Management Consultancy team focused on:

• Understanding real problems of projects
• Implementing the best solutions
• Developing scalable best practices, tools and technology

Specifically you’ll be part of our Project Planning Team, led by a planning discipline director.

Your Top Three Objectives

• Deliver construction projects to near perfection.
• Create scalable and repeatable solutions to common problems.
• Develop yourself and everyone around you.

Your Top Five Responsibilities

• Own the project plan for one or more projects and ensure it is worked to effectively, mitigating and managing delays commercially.
• Own the outcome: ensure the project team understands and focuses on the plan.
• Report and inform: provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels.
• Make scalable solutions: develop repeatable best practices and tools with the team.
• Develop everyone: maximise the development of your team and educate our clients.

You Must Have

• A construction engineering background: at least 2+ years of experience on construction projects.
• Strong communication skills: proficient in written and verbal English, charismatic and influential.
• Leadership capabilities: proactively lead yourself and others by asking the right questions.
• Impact: track record of implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that significantly improved projects or organisations.
